With all the threats to engage a proxy fight and even a possible walk away from the deal, Microsoft seems to have caved in to Yahoo’s demand for money. According to an unnamed source, Microsoft has raised its bid to acquire Yahoo! “by several dollars.” Both Microsoft and Yahoo! declined to comment as talks are expected to continue into the weekend.
