Three months after its initial offer, Microsoft has decided to walk away from the Yahoo! acquisition. After reports of a raised bid and talks between the two companies, Yahoo! continued to want more money asking for $37 per share or a total deal of $53 billion. Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer mentioned Yahoo! wouldn’t accept its newer offer of $33 per share or $47.5 billion. Ballmer also noted that a proxy fight was “not sensible.”
